Good health is one of life's most bountiful properties. Without it, life's daily tasks may become difficult or even impossible. At age 13, I fell into the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. The reason why, I was running track at the time and broke my leg just before the season was starting up again. I met my future Olympic Weightlifting coach, Bob Takano, through my strength and conditioning program for rehabilitating my leg. Bob Takano, the legendary Weightlifting coach who was inducted into USA Weightlifting's Hall of Fame as a contributor, coached me to a three time gold medal California State Championship, the 2004 Pan-American Games, 2003 American Open, and 2003 and 2004 National Juniors; placing me in World Class ranking. After retiring from Olympic Weightlifting at 21, I wanted to maintain my sports/fitness background and began to train at a fitness/figure competitive level, which enhanced my knowledge of nutrition. I understand the discipline and dedication required to succeed to one's fullest potential. I am energetic, passionate and enthusiastic about the success of who I train, and therefore, motivate my clients to always try their best. My goals as a fitness trainer are to use positive reinforcement in my client's goal reaching process, have a goal oriented workout, and accommodate my client's lifestyle. I am currently ASFA (American Sports and Fitness Association) , First Aid CPR/AED certified and continuing my education through sports therapy aide and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certifications.

After 5 years of service to Bally Total Fitness as a personal trainer and achieving a level 5 status (there is no 6) I decided to commit myself to being an independent personal trainer in 2009. Working at Bally Total Fitness allowed me the opportunity to develop my unique training skills and techniques while working with many different body types. During my time at Bally's I created a practice based on Yoga-Pilates-and Super Slow techniques. I developed and taught a small group personal training class called "Core Strength and Flexibility", and am currently working on a new discipline called "Pure Power". I built a reputation as a no nonsense focused trainer. I believe in training and educating the client. Attack the work. Get it done. Move on. The quicker I get the client in better shape, the more business I get, so you see I have a big interest in making it happen. I'd like to think I'm friendly in a kick your butt trainer kind of way.

Shaida is certified nationally as a personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and has received certification as a group aerobics instructor. She is a first degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and has also completed the Los Angeles Marathon three times. As an entrepreneur, owned Body Fusion Fitness Studio for 8 years and owned and operated two dry cleaning businesses in the San Fernando Valley for over 22 years.

Shape It Fitness is a 7,000 sq. ft. private gym offering state of the art equipment, cardio machines, full sized boxing ring, large open space for training, two large classrooms, and a massage room. The gym includes separate men and women’s bathrooms with showers. There is plenty of free parking for your convenience.

Where are you located?

We are located at 18421 Ventura Blvd Tarzana, CA 91356. It is conveniently accessible from Woodland hills.

How long are the personal training sessions?

Shape It Fitness offers personal training sessions that last for 30 or 50 minutes.

What does Shape It trainers specialize in?

Shape It Fitness offers couples training. So you can grab your spouse or friend and train together.

Do you offer any other services other than personal training?

Shape It Fitness is always looking for ways to provide the total fitness and health package. In addition to our personal training, we offer group classes, massage therapy, stretch therapy, nutrition counseling, and a supplement store.

Our gym has standard operating hours of Mon-Fri 6am-9pm, Sat 6am-7pm, and Sun 9am-2pm.
